After appearing at the Jazz Festival Ljubljana in 2012 (with his project Ziga Murko 13), Žiga has ventured into new territories, continuing to experiment with electronic music and underground hip hop. The trombonist’s highly distinctive, futuristic sound has a nostalgic flavour of cheap samplers, cassette players and VCRs. Žiga, who has signed with several international record labels, including Burnt Tapes and Acorn Tapes, will premiere his new work, Nautilus, to be released as a digital album on the ZARŠ label.
