The amazing Gard Nilssen is a natural-born drummer capable of playing the hardest swing you can imagine as much as improvising without a net or even to rock like there’s no tomorrow. He has done all of this at the highest level through some highly acclaimed groups. We asked him to do something special for the Jazz Festival Ljubljana and his first idea was to invite Fredrik Ljunkvist from Atomic into the band. Fredrik accepted with great enthusiasm and we are eagerly anticipating the world premiere of this incredible quartet. (pc)
