Young saxophonist Brina Kren attracted out notice as member of code::source, a project formed within the context of last year’s Young Researchers programme. Brina’s current project, Rišem si bogove [Picturing Gods], started as a duo with Lenart De Bock and special input from visual artist Tisa Neža Herlec. Rišem si bogove will appear in their expanded configuration, featuring vocalist Vida Vatovec (also a saxophonist) and cellist Urban Megušar. Blending poetry and music created on-site, the musicians and visual artist (whose contribution will be mediated digitally) use sound and images to paint portraits of fictional characters.
