Best Short Film Award Jury

Jožko Rutar
is a film producer, the founder and CEO of SPOK Film production company. After graduating from the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, Jožko worked as a producer of cultural events, dance performances and films. From 2011 to 2016, he was the Managing Director of the national film funding body Slovenian Film Centre. He is EAVE graduate and its Slovenian national representative. He also works as a lecturer and is head of the expert committee at the Slovenian audio-visual collecting society, AIPA, and a European Film Academy member.

Marina D. Richter
is a Belgrade-born, Vienna-based film critic, script advisor, journalist, and published writer. In 2018, Marina founded Ubiquarian, an online platform specialized in short films and documentaries, where she’s acting as editor-in-chief. Since 2020, she has been on the Selection Committee of NIFFF (Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival), and since 2021 also on the Selection Committee of NIFFF Asian shorts.

Asja Krsmanović
was born in Sarajevo in 1988. She graduated in dramaturgy from the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo. She worked as a dramaturg for numerous theatre productions, as well as some radio and television projects. She is manager of the Competition, Competition Short and In Focus Program at Sarajevo Film Festival, and since 2017 she has been running the Student Competition Program.
Art Cinema Network of Slovenia Award

Neža Mežan
has worked for Mestni kino Domžale (Domžale Cinema) for a number of years. It is the quality of the Cinema’s European and global film programme that encouraged Neža to develop her critical thought, also by participating in a film criticism workshop conducted by Matic Majcen. This year she attended the Sofia Innovation Lab held annually within the context of the Sofia International Film Festival. She also helps implement the Domžale Cinema’s film-education programmes.
Matej Patljak
is a film expert, freelance journalist, reporter from the world's major film festivals, artistic director, professional associate and programme director of the movie theatre chain Radi imamo kino (We Love Cinema - Kino Rogaška, Kino Slovenska Bistrica, Kino Brežice and Kino Sevnica), film premieres presenter, host and organizer.
Samo Seničar
has worked in film since 2010, when he was appointed Programme Manager of Celje’s Mestno kino Metropol (Metropol Cinema), Slovenia’s first arthouse cinema. He is also in charge of film education, an important part of Metropol's programme. He was member of various festival juries, most notably at Karlovy Vary, Festival of Slovenian Film Portorož, Sarajevo Film Festival and CineFest Miškolc International Film Festival. In 2017 and 2018, he was Programme Director of the Festival of European and Mediterranean Film in Piran.

Dragon Audience Award to best-rated film

The Dragon Audience Award is presented to best rated film that has not yet been purchased for Slovenian distribution. Choosing from Festival Director Simon Popek’s selection of movies, the spectators vote for their favourite feature film. Votes can be cast when exiting the cinema or via text-messaging at all 30th Liffe venues, at Cankarjev dom, Kinodvor Cinema, Komuna Cinema and Bežigrad Cinema. The film with the highest average rating receives the Dragon Audience Award. The voting via text-messaging has been made possible by Telekom Slovenije, d.d., the Festival’s main sponsor.
FIPRESCI Prize

presented by the jury of the International Federation of Film Critics.

Andrea Bosco is a film critic, journalist and translator from Genoa: while completing his studies in filmmaking and in Interlinguistic Mediation, he moved to Moscow in 2008 and worked as foreign language teacher, interpreter and correspondent for a number of Italian movie magazines, for which he covered several film festivals and previews.
Back to his city of origin in 2017, he joined the National Union of Film Critics (SNCCI) and continues to this day to lead workshops and public lessons on cinema history and criticism along with his journalistic activity, while serving on various international juries and cooperating with Genoa's main film academy (Scuola d'Arte Cinematografica di Genova).

Urban Tarman has a degree in cultural studies and is a journalist at Radio Slovenia.

Ivana Kronja, Ph.D., is a film theorist and critic from Belgrade, Serbia. Professor of film and media at Department of Fine and Applied Arts and Mulitimedia, http://www.vslpu.edu.rs, since 2003. Works as coordinator for Days of Slovenian Cinema in Belgrade & Serbia and co-selector of Croatian Film Days in Belgrade.
She published numerous essays on post-Yu film and culture in the country and abroad and participated as member of the international and critics' juries at: Theatre festival Infant, Novi Sad; Fipresci jury, Motovun film festival, Croatia; 25FPS, Zagreb, Croatia; Serbian Branch Fipresci jury, FEST, Belgrade; Belgrade Auteur cinema festival; Alternatives Film Video International festival, Belgrade. She is the author of monography: Aesthetics of Avantgarde and Experimental Cinema: Body, Gender, Identity. Europe-US-Serbia, published by Film Center Serbia in 2020.
Kinotrip Young Jury Award

Members of the Kinotrip Young Jury will see five full-length films that address issues concerning their peers, or, deal with topics relevant to young people. The Kinotrip Young Jury Award will be presented at the concluding ceremony, and pre-screening film introductions featured within the context of the Kinotrip selection.

The Kinotrip Young Jury comprises three members of the 6th Kinotrip Film Club who have helped curate and organise the 6th Kinotrip International Film Festival: Zoja Eva Bartolj, Eneja Golob Džananović and Brina Gramc.
