Focus Norway meets cheese and wine from Portugal

On Saturday, the last day of the Ljubljana Jazz Festival that featured a broad array of concerts, the jazz aficionados were given a nice gastronomic/oenological treat. In between two concerts at the CD Club, the Portuguese-French Hugo Carvalhais Quintet and the Norwegian Cortex quartet, a small reception entitled “Focus Norway meets cheese & wine from Portugal” was hosted by the witty festival co-director, Pedro Costa, and no less jocular representative of the Embassy of Norway, Katrine Steinfeld. The concert-goers could take delight in the excellent Portuguese cheese and wine as well as Norwegian salmon. Truly delicious, the goodies were very soon consumed. We are looking forward to pampering our taste buds again next year, at the 56th Ljubljana Jazz Festival.
