Which didn’t last long: the trio that in Ljubljana performed live for the first time – Kaja, Hamid and Ned – played a boisterous, well-nigh ritual concert. The music was upbeat, almost dance-floor and hypnotic, riding the waves of post-klezmer... - which accelerated into a full-scale attack. A Scandinavian all-female sextet, the Anna Hogberg Attack was fighting fire with fire, their fiery bursts only occasionally subdued into cool blues.
