Between 1998 and 2004, the tenor sax wiz Akosh S. and his Unit released an impressive number of albums on the Universal label and, in addition, thrilled Ljubljana’s own audiences at the Križanke theatre. Akosh went on to devote his creative energies to various ventures, including some dance/theatre contexts, only to twenty years later transcend all limitations and re-imagine himself as the king of Magyar jazz. The voice of Coltrane soaring above the plains of Hungary.
