This 3 day long workshop/ensemble project will be held during the Ljubljana Jazz Festival with the aim to perform 6 new pieces at the end of the week at one of the stages at The Ljubljana Jazz Festival. The workshop will be held by Emilia Martensson (-Vocalist of the year-2016 at The Parliamentary Jazz Awards, London).

The course is aimed at singers on an intermediate-advanced level and the main focus of the workshop/project will be improvisation and harmony singing. The aim is also to perform a couple of pieces purely from improvising together as a group.

Emilia was professional, creative and incredibly supportive of all her students on the course, getting to know each of us individually and developing us in our own direction.
