Only 24 hours after the prestigious London festival A Love Supreme has showcased three of Shabaka Hutchings’ ongoing projects, Sons of Kemet, The Comet Is Coming and The Ancestors, the 'Elders' will be blasting music at full volume in Ljubljana, the city that has witnessed Hutchings in some unforgettable concerts with the Sons and The Comet. On his latest release, Wisdom of Elders, Shabaka delves even further into spiritual jazz, sowing the seeds of new musical sensibilities on both sides of the Atlantic and further beyond, as far as Cape Town and the Cape of Good Hope. Pulsing Afro-futurism and a night that will be the talk of the town.
