Susanna’s playing style is sophisticated, full of precision and richly nuanced expression. Despite her young age she is already a rising star with an extensive track record and a safe rock in a variety of contexts. At the age of 25, she has managed to win a number of scholarships and awards, including the prestigious Jimi Hendrix Award at Berklee College of Music. Recipient of the coveted Jazzkatten Newcomer of the Year Prize in 2015, Risberg is predicted to become one of the leading jazz guitar players of her generation – a sign of a new surge of interest in jazz shown by the musically- and socially-engagedyoung audiences.
