Dejan Babosek

 

A Slovenian film director, screenwriter, and producer. Born in Ptuj, 1976. He has gained knowledge on film direction in various filmmaking workshops. He first focused on music video direction and advertisements and established his own production company Narayan Production. At the same time, he started with film production, as well. In 2013 his first feature Izhod (Exit) received its premiere. After that, he has focused on socially conscious films. In 2016 he produced the short film Strah (Fear) and started an awareness-raising campaign against racism, fascism, and xenophobia. With film projections and roundtables, he has toured numerous Slovenian cinemas, youth centres, and secondary schools. The film has been screened at various film festivals both in Slovenia and abroad. In September 2017 the narrative documentary, V imenu resnice (In the Name of Truth), premiered. His second feature film Ksana was screened at the Festival of Slovenian Film in Portorož. At the moment, he is producing the documentary Pravični (Fair) and a feature version of Strah (Fear).

Bill Shipsey  

Tiha is a film producer and director from Croatia. She has obtained BA degrees in film production from the Academy of Dramatic Arts, and in marketing from the Graduate School of Business Economics, both at the University of Zagreb. 

She has independently produced awarded short documentary and fiction films, and has worked on crews of fiction, animated and documentary films, and commercial formats.

She debuted as a film director with a feature-length documentary, Naked Island, which has received a number of international festival awards including the Amnesty International Award at the 2015 Ljubljana International Documentary Film Festival.

Currently she is working primarily as a director and writer of documentary formats, and producer of documentary and fiction films.
