From which devices can I watch movies?

You can watch movies on Cinesquare/LIFFE festival from: PC, laptop, tablet, TV with Android Box or mobile device via Web and Mobile Browser. Supported versions of the browsers include Chrome 60+, Firefox 40+, Safari 5+, IE 11+ as well as Android and iOS versions of the browsers. You can also watch movies from Chromecast.

 

How do I connect my phone or laptop to watch movies on TV?

You can easily do it via WiFi and simply cast the screen to your TV. If your TV is not Smart, you can connect your device via HDMI cable and enjoy watching
movies on a larger screen.
 

How to turn on a subtitle?

When the movie starts, the slovenian subtitle will start automatically. But, in case if it does not start,  you will see the option to activate any of the available subtitles on the right side of the player on the CC button. By simply clicking on the desired subtitle, it is activated.

Can I watch the films outside Slovenia?

Unfortunately, no. The 31st Liffe films are only available as a VoD service for the Slovenian area. This is stipulated by the film copyright licences which the Ljubljana International Film Festival or the national distributors were able to obtain exclusively for Slovenia.  

General Terms and Regulations of Watching 31st Liffe Films Online

The 31st Liffe films are available as an on-demand service via Cinesquare.net. The 31st Liffe films are only available on VOD for the Slovenian area (with a Slovenian IP address). This is stipulated by the film copyright licences which the Ljubljana International Film Festival was able to obtain exclusively for Slovenia. 

All films have Slovenian subtitles, some also English.  
The price for watching a single film is EUR 6.90.

31st Liffe films will only be available on demand during the duration of the festival, i.e. between 11 November 2020 from 00:00 to 22 November 2020 until midnight. The last code for the 31st Liffe films may be purchased on 22 November 2020 at 8 p.m.  
The 6-digit film watching code is non-transferrable and can be activated only under one user name and on one device.

The watching of each film must be completed within 4 hours after activating the code. After 4 hours the film viewing code will expire. 

Please note that the film watching codes cannot be changed after purchase, nor a refund claimed.

No refunds are offered for unused codes. 

In the event of a proven technical error in film showing as a result of the operation of the organizer or Cinesquare.net, a refund will be issued no later than the end of 2020. 

In the event of other technical errors that are not the responsibility of the organizer, no refunds will be offered. 

We reserve the right to make changes to the programme.
