Seminar, lecture and workshops for young people

Seminar
The Mad About Film (MAF) programme of the Institute for the Promotion of Visual Culture Vizo has been devised with the aim of providing young people with informal education about cinema. By means of a multimedia lecture, the third seminar titled Mad about Documentary Film will offer insight into the cinematography of documentary film, the history of this genre as well as its particularities and major filmmakers. The hands-on workshops will focus on making a documentary essay by mobile phones and writing film reviews. The participants will also attend festival screenings.

The seminar’s guests will be a cinema theoretician, publicist and lecturer, Andrej Šprah, PhD, and an acclaimed young filmmaker and documentary director, Sabina Đogić.

The workshops’ products will be featured at www.madaboutfilm.si as well as the Festival’s website.
