Zlata Filipović

Zlata Filipović was born in Sarajevo. At the age of ten, she started keeping a diary, which, when conflict began, became a record of the war and survival in her city. Zlata’s Diary was published first in France in 1993 and was an instant international bestseller. She holds a BA in Human Sciences from Oxford University and an MPhil in International Peace Studies from Trinity College Dublin. For the last eight years she has been engaged in making documentary films that have won numerous awards in Ireland and internationally. Her written work includes contributions to several books, radio programs and newspapers. Zlata has served six years on the Executive Committee of Amnesty International Ireland and has been volunteer in several other NGOs.
Urša Menart

Born in Ljubljana in 1985. In 2010, she graduated in Film and Television Direction from the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana. She works as director and screenwriter for film and television. In her documentary features There once was a land of hardworking people (Nekoč je bila dežela pridnih, 2012) and What about Mojca (Kaj pa Mojca, 2014), she deals with the issues of national culture and identity.
Dragana T. Trivundža

Born in 1974. She's been member of Amnesty International Slovenia since her student days; in 2012 she was elected chair of AI Slovenia. She graduated in journalism. Professionally, she works in the area of different kinds of online communications and also manages her own micro-company. She's been active in many organisations striving to make the world a better place; among others, she was founding member of association Edirisa Slovenije. What she likes most in the whole world is being the mother of Tamara and Katarina.
