Rate a film on a scale of 1 to 5, tear off the rating slip and cast your vote when exiting the cinema (boxes provided).

Rate a film by means of a text message (2929) by 6am. The text message should read: LIFF (interspace), film code (interspace) and rating from 1 to 5.

Film codes are printed on admission tickets and announced on the festival’s website. Only one vote can be cast from the same phone number for each film. Voting is available to subscribers of the Telekom Slovenije mobile network, users of Mobi, Izi, and Spar Mobil. Text-messaging is subject to mobile operator’s applicable prices. The voting via text-messaging has been made possible by Telekom Slovenije, d.d., the Festival’s main sponsor. Voting results are announced on www.liffe.si.

Gena Teodosievska (1962) is as journalist, film critic, festival selector, festival artistic director, script tutor and producer. Since 1991 she has worked for the PSB Macedonian Radio and Television, reporting from numerous film festivals for the weekly TV magazine VITRAZ. She writes articles and film reviews for FILM + printed media monthly magazine. She has a master’s degree in cultural studies, insists on the necessity of film criticism as a genre in the media, and teaches students.

René Marx (1957) is Deputy Editor of L’Avant-Scene Cinéma in Paris. He has written about French and international cinema since 1988. He is particularly interested in Italian cinema, teaches cinema and has published several books.  

Ivana Novak is a postgraduate in cultural studies and pursues a career in film criticism and theory. She is a film programme curator at the RTV Slovenia, among others editing Kinoteka, a broadcast about classical cinema, and creating the PodKino podcast for the MMC RTV Slovenia. She has edited and co-edited various film theory anthologies for the Slovenian Cinematheque, and is an editorial board member of the Ekran magazine.
